Position summary:  To ensure all guests receive the highest quality food items served from an immaculate kitchen in a timely manner.

 

Position responsibilities:

 

  • By strictly adhering to recipe guidelines, prepare menu items as ordered for restaurant patrons.
  • Ensure all prepared menu items meet quality expectations and plate specifications 100% of the time.
  • Correctly ring all prepared menu items through the POS system.
  • Restock work station with food products as needed.
  • Follow proper personal hygiene and sanitation standards set by health department.
  • Follow proper food storage, handling and preparation standards.
  • Adhere to Ecosure standards at all times.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following safety guidelines at all times
  • Complete and abide by all training requirements.
  • Ability to work as a team.
  • Flexibility with work schedule and availability in order to meet business demands.
  • Perform any other duties, assignments and responsibilities as requested.

 

 

Education and/or Experience

High School education or equivalent experience

 

Communication Skills

Ability to verbally communicate with guests and other associates

Ability to read labels on boxes, thermometers, food products, recipes and plate specs

Ability to clearly and accurately write out food labels

 

Physical requirements

Able to lift up to 80 pounds

Able to stand for extended periods in a high temperature environment.

Able to perform duties which include bending, kneeling, stooping and reaching

 

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of and ability to safely handle knives and all other kitchen equipment

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships

Knowledge of and ability to understand and use measuring tools
