Experience:

Summary

Responsibilities include and accountable for managing rooms and function space inventory for the hotel. Ensuring that the inventory is allocated and restricted properly in order to maximize total hotel revenues and profits. Assists in management of distribution on the hotel inventory including yield management and current market trends.

Job Duties

  • Serves as an inventory and restriction expert to person performing the business evaluation and revenue analysis functions.
  • Loading and maintaining of both transient and group rates across the different revenue channels/systems.
  • Prepares and conducts weekly sell strategy meeting (Revenue Call) as well as daily communications including rate strategies to on property and above property teams
  • Prepares regional monthly reports and
  • Prepares presentations, when needed
  • Continuous business evaluation and analysis of competitive sets, price positioning, seasonality and mix of business
  • Ensure that the hotels sales strategies are effectively implemented in the inventory systems
  • Identify new revenue opportunities.
  • Conducts regular portofolio and compset visits to evaluate competitive advantage and top revenue challenges at the property.
  • Ensures that all rates, packages, and hotel sales strategy information is built in the hotel's inventory (PMS) systems.
  • Assists with the hotel sales strategy and pricing for transient, group and catering and ensures both are effectively implemented.
  • Conducts group displacement analysis at the request of the sales leaders.
  • Monitors Group Rooms and works with the sales leaders to make sure group is washed in a timely manner.
  • Analyzes reports received from the Brands, ensuring that properties are operating within the established guidelines
  • Maintains open communication with the properties, keeping them informed of matters of significance.
  • Helps to create the annual budget for the assigned properties
  • Submits regular reports to the Director of Revenue Management on all aspects of revenue performance and communicates action plans to rectify any deficiencies.
  • Maintain relationships with online travel agency (OTA) market managers and provide quarterly reporting to properties
  • Additional duties may be added at any time at the discretion of management.
