Oversee the entire fitness center and the surrounding areas of the Palazzo, including the pool area. Greet members in a warm and friendly manner. Assist members in getting on their desired piece of fitness equipment while enforcing club rules, as well as maintaining a clean environment. Enforce all club rules to include Fitness Center, Palazzo, and Pool.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned, as needed.

  • Ensure all members and guests sign in upon entering the Fitness Center.
  • Maintain Records of members' names that are waiting for the cardio equipment and assist members get on that desired piece of equipment.
  • Enforces a thirty minute time limit on each piece of equipment when other members are waiting, as well as other appropriate rules.
  • Clean all equipment's with antibacterial cleaner between each member's uses.
  • Turn TV channel/ music to desired station as requested by members.
  • Perform a thorough cleaning of all cardio pieces at the end of each shift.
  • Assist in performing towel runs and locker room checks.
  • There may be other tasks or duties relative to the performance of your position requested of you by your supervisor from time to time.
  • Fulfill all other duties as assigned by the Fitness Director, and/or General Manager.
  • Cover pool areas, such as towel attendant or pool attendant as scheduled.

REASONING ABILITIES

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
