The Bell/Door Attendant position works closely with the Front Desk Staff and is responsible for consistent, professional, friendly and engaging service in an informative and advantageous manner. Creatively and actively engage guest in an of service manner with luggage, transportation and additional needs during their travels with us. Often the first and last person a guest sees while staying at the hotel is the Bell Attendant. The care and attention that goes with this position is crucial and conveys a critical message to the guests about our property commitment to service.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous 1-2 years hotel and/or customer related experience, preferably luxury, boutique property
  • Proficiency in English (verbal and written), second language an asset
  • Must possess a professional presentation
  • You must have a clean driver's license with a least two years driving experience on a full license
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
  • Highly responsible & reliable
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous always
  • Ability to lift, pull, bend, push moderate weight and stand for 8 hours or more a day.
  • Ability to work (AM. PM, Weekends & Holidays)
  • Other duties as needed
