The PBX Operator/Front Desk Agent position is responsible for consistent, professional, friendly and engaging service in an informative and advantageous manner. Creatively and actively engage guest in an of service manner during their travels with us. Effectively communicate and respond to guest inquiries, hotel services and amenities unique to the hotel and within historic Washington, DC landscape.

  • Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications an asset
  • Must be able to type 25 words per minute
  • Must possess a professional presentation
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
  • Highly responsible & reliable
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
  • Ability to lift, pull, bend, push moderate weight and stand for 8 hours or more a day.
  • Flexible schedule (AM, PM, Weekends & Holidays)
