As Night Manager, you would be responsible for directing and overseeing all hotel operations during the night shift to support the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Act as Manager on Duty. Direct and oversee all hotel operations during the night shift to ensure guest satisfaction and safety.
  • Provide support to all departments as required.
  • Secure the property in partnership with security officers. Tour hotel premises to ensure the property and facilities are functional, presentable to established standards and safe for guests and team members.
  • Ensure that all entrances are locked and secured, and that all areas are safe.
  • Prevent any liability for the hotel, fill out incident reports if required.
  • Oversee preparation of daily summary reports and audit work.
  • Ensure that Hilton standards of service are met at all times to create memorable experiences for our guests.
  • Monitor and develop team member performance including but not limited to: scheduling, assigning nightly work, conducting training and counseling and delivering recognition.
  • Assist in the management of all Front Office operations to include, but not limited to, guest service and registration (check-in/check-out), room inventory and availability, cost controls and overall profitability, systems use and management, policy and procedure implementation and enforcement.
  • Assist in the recruitment, interviewing process and training of team members.
  • Handle guest inquiries and complaints.

  • Excellent inter-personal and communication skills
