S3 Hotel Group is hiring a F&B Manager for our Aqua restaurant and Lounge located inside the Holiday Inn hotel Irvine Spectrum/Lake Forest. 

I am looking for an experienced lead, supervisor, or manager to work along side the Director of F&B. 

This is a full-time opportunity with full benefits available.

You will be responsible for FOH and some BOH operations.

Scheduling, A/R, A/P, Payroll, Menu design, Menu engineering, Inventories, Coaching and Counseling, Training, Interviewing/Hiring, Ordering, Micros programming.

Job Purpose:  To welcome patrons upon entry into lounge, preserve order among patrons, and protect hotel property.

Job Responsibilities: 

  1. Schedule and arranges parties or special services for patrons.
  2. Greet guests, escorts them to tables.  Adjusts complaints of patrons.
  3. Assign work tasks & coordinates activities of lounge personnel to ensure prompt and courteous service to patrons.
  4. Inspect lounge for neatness and cleanliness, and requisitions table linens and other supplies.
  5. May interview, hire, and discharge lounge personnel.  May train lounge employees.  May schedule work hours and keep time records of lounge workers.
  6. May assist in planning overall beverage operations.  May prepare beverages.
  7. May total receipts, at end of shift, to verify sales and clear cash register.  May collect payment from customers.
  8. Design and implement programs/promotions that maximize revenue and profit.
  9. Reward employees who utilize their empowerment to meet or exceed customer expectations.
  10. Other duties as assigned.

Job Skills:

  1. Speak clearly and talk easily with all kinds of people to put them at ease.
  2. Use judgment and reasoning to cope with emergencies, such as sudden illness, accident, or interrupted service.
  3. Perform a variety of activities, changing activities often and sometimes without notice.
  4. Plan and carry out an activity.
  5. Plan the work of others.

Job Qualifications:  

Education

Associate Degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Business or related field.

Experience

Minimum 2 years experience in lounge operations in a supervisory capacity, and 2 years bartending experience; OR, an equivalent combination of education and experience.
