Job Purpose: Primary responsibility is to prepare food items for cooking according to standard recipes to ensure guest satisfaction is consistent with Nusret Standards. To consistently foster a spirit of harmony and cohesion between the kitchen staff and service staff.

 Job Responsibilities: 

  1. Prepares all food products according to the prescribed methods
  2. Maintains the highest level of food quality available.
  3. Receives and stores all products as prescribed.
  4. Maintains a clean and safe kitchen.
  5. Follows all health and safety regulations.
  6. Follows all Food & Beverage regulations.
  7. Communicates all problems and ideas for improvement to management.

  1. Must be able to "prep" food products, using standardized food preparation techniques.
  2. Skillfully use hand tools or machines needed for work.  Measure, cut, or otherwise work on materials or objects with great precision.
  3. Use arithmetic or shop geometry to figure amounts of material needed, dimensions to be followed and cost of materials.
  4. Read recipes of items to be prepared.
