Responsibilities

PAVE THE WAY - Assist Sales Managers and Directors with daily office responsibilities to allow increased outside selling time and provide our accounts with stellar service and execution

SET UP THE SALE - Coordinate and complete proposals, contracts and other performance driving documents

BE EXTRA! - Over communicate with other departments on matters related to Sales and Events including: Accounting, Front Office, Culinary, Restaurants, and Banquets

STEP UP TO THE PLATE - At all times, take the extra step with callers if sales manager is unavailable. We'll empower you to qualify, sell and, in some cases, close for the Manager.

SIMMER DOWN - Handle stressful/difficult clients in a professional manner; staying calm under pressure is a must as we Listen, Empathize, Apologize, Respond and Notify (L.E.A.R.N).

WELCOME TO THE PARTY - Meet and greet in house clients as well as conduct sporadic site visits for walk-in guests and receive phone calls to the department; You're the first impression!

GET TECHY - Become an expert in our Sales and Inventory system (C.I.T.Y) to ensure meeting space, guest rooms, rates, events and other details are accurately documented.

PREPARE THE TEAM - Provide support to the event planning process including preparation and distribution of event orders, group resumes, organizing amenities for VIP's and communicating all relevant details to ensure success of the operations team.

FOLLOW THE LEADER - Support an innovative and dynamic leadership team and learn from experience first-hand. Your development will ultimately lead to booking and/or personally servicing small groups.
