The Corporate Sales Manager will generate profitable revenue through outside direct sales and by identifying, developing, and maintaining property sales relationships and marketing objectives, for 4 of our 5 properties.  Responsible for maximizing the occupancy and the average daily rate of the hotels.

As Corporate Sales Manager you will:

  • Establish/leverage a client base of organizations, individuals, social groups and corporate businesses through direct outside and inside sales, to secure short and long-term bookings for all tier 2 and 3 hotels.
  • Create and execute a sales plan specific to relevant market assignments.
  • Provide a day to day leadership for achieving booking goals and property revenues to the onsite sales personnel.
  • Oversee, hunt, produce, maintain all new and currently contracted Local Negotiated Accounts & Global Accounts through the sales process, accountability and relationship building.
  • Provide customer intelligence in evaluating the market and economic trends that may lead to changes in the current sales strategy to meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Review the STAR report, competitive shopping reports and uses other resources to maintain an awareness of the hotel's market position.
  • Produce weekly sales reports & activities for VP of Ops and hotel GMs.
  • Evaluate the property's participation in various sales channels and develops strong working relationships that enable to proactively position and market the property.
  • Schedule group rooms, conventions and business group activities at the hotel.

Requirements:

  • Proactive approach, with exceptional problem-solving abilities to ensure the highest levels of productivity and guest satisfaction.
  • Ability to work effectively as an independent contributor, and as a part of a collaborative team.
  • Originate and carry out sales campaigns & blitzes.
  • Polished appearance and demeanor, with exception oral and written communication skills.
  • Able to deal effectively and interact well with the guest and employees.
  • 5 of more years Hotel Sales or Marketing experience
  • 2+ years post high school education
  • Brand specific experience preferred
  • Delphi Experience preferred
