The Welcome Desk Agent will...

  • Welcome residents by greeting them in a cheerful and welcoming manner in person or on the telephone; answering or referring all inquiries
  • Assist with all persons requesting access to the building; maintain efficient communication between Residents, Maintenance and Property Management during move-in/move-out
  • Maintain knowledge of Urby events and local preferred vendors; provide recommendations
  • Assist with transportation directions and public transit schedules
  • Maintain resident package process (receive and place in package locker or storage; assist residents with package system)
  • Assist use of resident application access, including but not limited to, Butterfly MX, Tesa, WIFI
  • Spot check cleanliness and maintenance needs of lobby and bathroom
  • Direct and assist with logging maintenance work orders
  • Assist with all resident requests and ensure timely follow up response
  • Interact with residents to obtain feedback on quality of product, service levels and overall satisfaction
  • Provide services that are above and beyond for resident satisfaction and retention
  • Encourage mutual trust, respect and cooperation among all team members
  • Provide information to managers and co-workers by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person in a timely manner
  • Be empowered to choose the best solution and problem solve effectively
  • Participate in departmental meetings and Culture Catch-Up's, while continually communicating a clear and consistent message regarding goals to produce desired results
  • Assist with other tasks as needed directed by Property Management team

 

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years experience in guest services, front desk, or related professional area
  • Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing with tenants, management and co-workers, both in person and by telephone.
  • Strong technical skills including MS Office
