Ensures proper training and supervision of kitchen and restaurant personnel. Deliver prompt, courteous service in a manner that complies with PHR Food and Beverage standards and company policies and procedures.

Liaises with sales department for assigned events in the Orchard Hotels' respective restaurants. The essential responsibilities will include the overall restaurant and event management. • Supervision of floor during operation. 
• Ensure that service personnel follow service scenario.
• Handle all complaints to the guests' satisfaction; document; file.
• Kitchen, stewarding and bar staff on duty as scheduled.
• Insure station rotation in seating where applicable.
• Assist in seating or service of guests as necessary.
• Coordinate all functions in dining room during service.
• Special boards and/or descriptions posted accurately.
• Continuously check food quality and presentation coming from kitchen.
• Maintain food displays during service.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and comments regarding food.
• To be familiar with clients so that there is constant recognition of all repeat guests.
• To maintain the physical atmosphere and cleanliness of the restaurant.
• Staff's uniform and appearance meet specifications.
• Tabletops set to specifications.
• Inspect all menus daily.
• During service, constantly inspect tabletops, side-stations and tray stands.
• Follow and enforce key policies from Employee Handbook.
• Follow and enforce Lost and Found policy and procedures.
• Conduct Monthly inventories - all food and beverages at the OH and OGH.
• Assist with applicant interview process (communicate with General Manager and HR Manager).

    • Know emergency procedures (including CPR) and work to prevent accidents.
    • Be familiar with and enforce all policies related to liquor liability laws. Specifically:
    - Dram shop Theory - Prohibiting sale of liquor to intoxicated guests.
    - Prohibiting sale of liquor to minors.
    - Maintains current TIPS Certification and ensures all alcohol servers are certified
    • Perform any and all other duties assigned and/or required by management.
    • Works weekend and holiday shifts as Manager on Duty, as assigned.
    • Attends and/or directs mandatory departmental meetings. Conveys pertinent information to staff and department heads.
