Job Objective: To provide accurate Finance and HR Department in processing of accounts payables and bi-weekly payroll and to assist HR Department with administrative duties and light recruitment.

 

Key Areas of Accountability:

  • ADP Workforce Now Payroll processing bi-weekly
  • Input, review invoices for accuracy and proper approval.
  • Batch process of invoices in proper accounting period.
  • Maintenance of recurring payables.
  • Insure that debt payments are processed on a timely basis.
  • Process weekly checks runs.
  • Match checks and back-up documentation for filing.
  • Sort/file paid invoices by company and vendor.
  • Maintain organized files of unpaid invoices for efficient retrieval.
  • Research and resolve vendor inquiries regarding any outstanding invoices in a timely manner.
  • Assist in 1099-tax form preparation.
  • Assist with other accounting duties as needed.
  • Work with property personnel to insure timely receipt of weekly and month-end invoice batches.
  • Do filing personnel records and other HR and Payroll related documents
  • Screen resumes and make recommendation to the Hiring Manager
  • Assist with other HR duties as needed
  • Other duties as assigned.

*Education/Experience: College Degree is preferred. However, a combination of practical experience and education will be considered. 1 to 3 years work experience in any industry. Experience work in a hotel or property management is a plus.

 

*Equipment/Computer Experience: Advanced typing skills and knowledge of computers (email, web search, MS Word and Excel), ADP Workforce Now experience is a plus.

 

*Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Excellent spelling skills and knowledge of general rules of etiquette.

 

*Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, commissions, proportions, and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra, and accounting.

 

*Reasoning Skills: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Employee should have excellent problem solving skills.

 

*Certification/Licenses/Registration: Must be allowed to work in the United States.
