PURCHASING AGENT: The storeroom attendant is responsible for logging, releasing and inventorying items in the food storeroom area. This person must be able to lift a moderate to heavy weight and have good communication skills (Must be able to move and/or lift a minimum of 50 pounds on a consistent basis). This position will receive, store and deliver items to various hotel departments, etc. The Storeroom Clerk will be responsible for maintaining inventory pars and utilizing computer spreadsheets, etc. The Storeroom Clerk will report directly to the Purchasing Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Candidate should have outstanding analytical skills, attitude, enthusiasm, professionalism, attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • The ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure effectively and work independently.
  • The ability to deal with internal & external guests with a high level of professionalism, tact and diplomacy.
  • Must be guest service focused and understand expectations of hospitality and accounting demands.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of associates and management.
  • Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software programs and must be proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint (required).  
  • Must be a team player.
  • Good 10-key, data entry and keyboarding abilities.
  • Must have the ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.
