The Housekeeping/Laundry Specialist is responsible for providing cleaning services to offices, common amenities, accommodations, and laundry services with continuing effort to deliver outstanding service.
Starting time 5am
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individual with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Ensures all operational and safety procedures are properly followed
- Ensure and maintain cleanliness, service and produce quality standards of public spaces, restrooms, offices and banquet/meeting/conference rooms in accordance with federal, local and company health, sanitation and safety standards
- Ensure proper usage of chemicals and cleaning supplies
- Perform complete detail cleaning
- Perform daily maid services, strip and make beds, clean bathrooms, vacuum, and mop
- Wash, dry and fold - towels / robes
- Discard trash
- Clean kitchens including dishes and appliances
- Dust and clean furniture, computers, telephones
- Stock amenities
- Provide washing, drying, folding, and pressing of all linens
- Pick up and deliver laundry from departments
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Perform repetitive motions
- Knowledge of sewing
- Able to work weekends and holidays and occasional overtime
- Must have a valid driver license
- May require adjusted work schedules to meet deadlines
- Regular attendance and timeliness are required
