JOB SUMMARY: Accountable to maintain an understanding working relationship with all departments as it relates to computer and telephone support systems. To preform efficient troubleshooting and computer/network triage as necessary. Respond verbally and electronically to issues involving end-user support. Diagnose and resolve tier 1 technical hardware and software issues. Support all network devices including: routers, firewalls, switches, or wireless access points. Perform preventative maintenance and practice disaster recovery. To anticipate the computer and data transmission needs of all departments, to minimize disruptions to the operation of the Hotel; and to minimize a negative impact in the stay of our guests.

QUALIFICATIONS: · Commitment to excellence in customer and guest services with ability to interact at all levels · Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills. · Strong oral and written communication skills. · Knowledge of multiple software applications. · Strong skills using MS Office and Windows XP/7/2003/2008/2010, Opera and Micros · Network and MS Windows server support experience. · Perform duties, during peak season, beyond the scheduled work week and provide on-call support as needed. · Three or more years' experience in the computer field of Data processing. · Ability to recognize, to evaluate, and formulate, recommendations for the resolution of problems. · Ability to troubleshoot and perform all phases of computer operations and repairs; as they pertain to Hotel mainframe computers systems and personal computers. · Ability to learn new Hotel software and hardware applications quickly, and provide on-going support for users. · Must work on site · 1-3 Years of experience required

FUNCTIONAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: · To keep in good working condition, and repair when required, all computer hardware and software programs; as needed for the business operation of the hotel. · Maintain all front desk and reservations, and sales, computer systems operational at all times. · Maintain all HR and time clock/pay systems operational at all times. · Maintain all guest internet access operational at all times. · Maintain all administrative support (Administration, Accounting, Concierge, Food and beverage, Fun Center, Gift shop, Housekeeping, Human Resources, Maintenance, and Purchasing) computer systems, functional and operational at all times. · Effectively and efficiently troubleshoot diverse type of office equipment and telephones (printers, fax machines, copiers etc.). · Perform other job related functions as needed and directed by the General Manager and the IT department Supervisor.
