How you'll help 

As a National Account Manager, you'll be responsible for effectively soliciting and becoming familiar with all accounts in your market segments. You'll also be responsible for prospecting and closing on assigned accounts/territory to positively impact center revenues, and build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts in order to achieve sales targets.

What you'll do

  • Hold business reviews to assess opportunities for sales.
  • Develop a full working knowledge of operations of the property, including Food and Beverage, Conference Services, Planning and Reservations.
  • Develop, implement and constantly modify sales action plans to meet or exceed set goals.
  • Develop sales plan and strategy to increase business opportunities.
  • Initiate and follow up on leads.
  • Maintain and participate in an active sales solicitation program.
  • Monitor production of all top accounts and evaluate trends within your market.
  • Regularly contact existing accounts based on the tracing frequencies.
  • Meet or exceed sales solicitation call goals as assigned by the Director of Sales and Marketing.
  • Receive and respond to all client inquiries within four business hours.
  • Hold regular quarterly meetings with internal stakeholders about key accounts.
  • Monitor competitor products, pricing, weakness and strengths to accordingly develop business strategy to achieve corporate goals.

Experience & Skills you'll need 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
  • 4+ years experience in hotel sales or a related field required.
  • Previous experience managing national accounts.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must be skilled in Windows, Delphi, Company approved spreadsheets and word processing.
