We are looking for a Lead Guest Receptionist that will lead an energetic and passionate team of ambassadors who are the face of Tuscany Suites & Casino. As a member of our busy Guest Reception team, you will be the first to warmly welcome and bid a fond farewell to our guests. As an excellent communicator, you will work hand in hand with the rest of the hotel team to ensure that our busy department is managed effectively.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide leadership for the Guest Receptionists on shift
  • Prompt, friendly response to guest requests or concerns with follow-up to ensure satisfaction
  • Compliance with hotel safety programs and procedures, including emergency and security systems
  • Ensures that all required documentation (daily reports, checklists, etc.) are completed in a timely manner
  • Provide training, coaching, and development for new associates
  • Ensures that new team members receive training in appropriate hotel policies and procedures
  • Performs other job related duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or GED required. Experience working with a computer, including data entry and maintaining security of confidential information. Ability to work well with others. Guest Focus, including experience in anticipating guest needs and responding pleasantly and professionally in a variety of settings and situations. Listening skills to ensure accurate understanding of guest wishes. Composure to work effectively under pressure and to address and resolve guest problems or concerns. Approachability to encourage effective communication with guests and fellow team members. Prior experience in Hotel front desk positions required. Availability to work a rotating schedule including early mornings, late evenings, weekends and public holidays.
