We are looking for a professional line cook to prepare food to the exact chef's specifications and to set up stations for menu. Line cook duties will consist of assisting the executive and sous chef with their daily tasks. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure excellence of customer service
  • Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to brand recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards. Including preparation of required morning/evening special.
  • Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.
  • Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition through personal inspection and reporting any repair issues immediately.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned.
  • Setting up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
  • Preparing food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
  • Cooking menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

  • Ability to multi-task and problem solve.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel, and guests.
  • Should be passionate about food service and guest satisfaction.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
