  1. BANQUET SUPERVISOR

    Duties include, but not limited to:

    • Supervises all aspects of the banquet operations.
    • Directs setting up of tables, and decorations.
    • Assists manager to identify, evaluate and develop strategies to increase revenue, control costs, and ensure guest satisfaction.
    • Directs, develops and coaches department personnel to work to full potential.
    • Plans the serving order and orchestrates its completion in a timely, quiet and courteous manner.
    • Daily review of upcoming event function sheets.
    • Ensures that function rooms are setup to meet customer satisfaction.
    • Conducts function review with customers; adjusts specifications as necessary, and performs follow-up to ensure all details are correct.
    • Takes the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner and ensures all needs are met.  Observes guests to fulfill any additional requests, to perceive when next course should begin, or when meal is completed.
    • Aides in the operation of banquet department.
    • Actively participates in room set up and service
    • Ensures the timeliness of all banquet activities, quality of food &drink presentation and excellent customer service.
    • Handles complaints, problems and requests by guests in a timely manner; and keeps guest satisfaction, Prairie Meadows' integrity, reputation and policies in mind.
    • Assist in maintaining inventory levels of all banquet props & supplies.
    • Investigates and reports on shortages/overages from revenue locations.
    • Displays awareness and compliance with security, safety, emergency and energy procedures.
    • Relieves banquet manager and operates the department.
    • Trains employees in proper food handling, storage, safety and sanitation procedures.
    • Other duties as assigned.
